New Year, New Site, New Studio! | Moncton Area Photographer

So I know I’m a bit late to be writing an “it’s a new year” post, but since I finally have my new website up and running, I thought it was better late than never.  If you haven’t already heard, 2016 is the year of change for me.  Not only have I finally switched to my new website (browse around and check it out!), but I have also promised myself that I am going to start blogging.  In fact, I’m changing my overall workflow completely.  You’ll notice less sneak peeks on my Facebook page so that I can dedicate more time to getting your photos edited faster and blogging full sessions.  I’ll still post on Facebook, of course, but you’ll be seeing a change in what is posted and when it is posted.

Of course my biggest change for this year is that I finally took the plunge and opened a brand new studio space in my little hometown of Hillsborough (don’t worry, you guys – it’s only 30 minutes from Moncton).  Having a studio space of my very own is something that I’ve been wanting to do for years, so when the opportunity finally presented itself this past fall, I just couldn’t turn it down!  It has been exhilarating and terrifying (in the best possibly way) all at once.  I’ve been officially open for just a few short weeks now and I am loving the space more than I ever could have imagined.  It’s small and modest, but it’s perfect for me.  I’m still shooting on location, but having this space makes it easier to photograph your newborns, babies, cake smash sessions, and so much more!  It’s also where I am going to be doing proofing sessions (also new!) for those of you who like to order prints instead of digital files.  Finally – a place to call my own!  Here’s a little peek at what it looks like so far, though I am still waiting on a few finishing touches.

I’d love to see you at the studio in person!  To celebrate finally being open, I am offering a number of winter promotions on studio sessions this winter.  I’m currently offering $100 off my newborn sessions (be sure to book while you are still pregnant!) and have also been doing some mini sessions.  I have made the decision to offer 3-4 mini sessions in the studio every month.  These little sessions are perfect for those of you who are just looking for a few simple shots.  Think of grads, baby milestones, birthdays, holiday photos, etc.  The spaces are very limited and will be booked on a first come, first serve basis.  Be sure to get in touch if you’re interested!
